Pastor

John Hutchinson is the Pastor here at Providence Church.  John has served on staff at Providence for over eight years as Minister of Youth and Education prior to transitioning into the pastorate on January 1, 2009.  John's educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in Theology from Hillsdale College in 2000.  He then completed his seminary education with a Masters of Divinity (M.Div. w/BL) in May 2006.

John and his wife Sarah have 3 children.  In addition to serving at Providence, John also teaches and coaches at Santa Fe South, a charter school in Oklahoma City.  A native of central Arkansas, John is an avid Arkansas Razorbacks fan.

Music Minister

Tony Cooper serves as Minister of Music for our church.  Born and raised in Moore, Tony is excited to finally get to minister in his home town.  Tony has held other ministry positions, such as Missions Pastor, Worship Pastor and Associate Pastor in various locations (Edmond, OK; Spencer, OK; Tupelo, MS; Norman, OK).  Upon graduating from Westmoore High School in 1996, he began his college career at Hillsdale FWB College where he graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Theology and a Bachelor's Degree in Missions.  He also spent 6 years at the University of Central Oklahoma honing his musical skills in such areas as piano, voice/choir and trombone performance.  This has given him opportunities to perform in musicals, operas, orchestras and choirs at OU, UCO and Moore High School.
 
Tony and his wife Jennifer have two children, two dogs, a guinea pig, and two fish.  He loves to be outdoors and hanging out with his family.

Youth Minister

Gavin Hart serves as our Youth Minister at Providence Church.  Gavin grew up at Providence, and has recently come back from another ministry position to work with our team of youth sponsors to develop the ministry to students at Providence. Gavin brings an emphasis on international missions work with him, having been overseas to Cardiff, Wales four different times with two different missions organizations, with plans to go to Africa this summer. Gavin attained an Associates Degree in Liberal Arts from Rose State College in 2010, and is currently a student at Oklahoma Baptist University in Shawnee.
